  • Designed an AC-DC converter that accepts a single-phase 90 – 264VAC input and has dual channel 24VDC outputs
  • Featured high-efficiency operation, which included both out-rush control and fused outputs

  • Develop a high-efficient custom power supply that runs off 3-Phase 208VAC
  • Develop a power supply that delivers 5,000W
  • Feature in-rush protection, power good, I2C control and diagnostics
  • Able to be fan cooled with speed control

  • Developed an AC-DC power supply that is >91% efficient
  • Ability to accept a 3-Phase 208VAC input and has a 380VDC output
  • Developed the power supply to be fan cooled

  • Develop a 3-Phase input power supply that will convert down to dual 48V outputs @ 1,500W each
  • Develop the power supply to be highly efficient using an I2C interface
  • Feature on/off control and input/output, voltage/current measurements
  • Must include fault monitoring

Robotic welding

Solution

  • Developed a solution that filtered and boosted the 3-Phase input, then fed it through high-voltage bus converters
  • The converter was able to take in 380VDC and deliver 48VDC @ 1,500W each with a peak efficiency >95%
  • All outputs were isolated
  • Included an I2C interface for power monitoring and control
